Jeff Johnson is currently Founder and President of BioTech Design, LLC, a biopharmaceutical consulting firm with considerable insight into process engineering and economics. Over the past few decades, Jeff has watched and investigated the development and potential of single-use technologies in the bioprocess workflow. Jeff’s prior role was as New Technology Lead and Director, Global Engineering Solutions, at Merck & Co. Inc. Jeff also co-led Merck’s Single-Use Network (SUN). He holds a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Rochester and an MS in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
