Andy started his biopharma industry profession with Pharmacia Biotech in St Albans, UK where he worked as a chromatography technical support specialist and as a FPLC specialist. Over the past 30 years, he has held roles as a chromatography system and software expert, downstream bioprocess specialist and more recently as a business development manager for bioprocess resins.
 
As chromatography SME he supported the bioprocess customers to develop and scale chromatography-based manufacturing processes for monoclonal antibody, recombinant protein, and vaccine/vector related therapies. He has also supported sales and marketing to drive numerous chromatography NPIs for the bioprocess market.

Patrick Gilbert, PhD

Patrick Gilbert, PhD joined Purolite in 2011 as a research scientist after completing his PhD in material science on the topic of ion exchange membrane synthesis and characterization. At Purolite, he worked on new synthetic IEX resins before starting work on the first Purolite bioprocessing resins based on agarose polymers and then leading the group that developed and commercialized Praesto Jetted A50 and HipH affinity resins.
 
Gilbert now leads the Purolite Bioprocessing R&D group, working on delivering the next generation of Bioprocessing resins.

Steve Tingley
VP of Sales,

Having worked initially for GSK, Steve Tingley then joined Millipore, creating and sharing expertise in sterile and downstream processing. At Millipore, Steve became a recognized early champion of developing and adopting single-use technologies. He has had experience developing and commercializing several leading technologies, including filtration, chromatography, upstream intensification, and single-use products. This includes massively parallel micro bioreactors systems for upstream process development and multi-column chromatography, leading the disposable chromatography team that developed Repligen’s OPUSTM pre-packed column line and most recently building Repligen’s SUT program.

Jamie Peyser
Vice President, Fluid Management,

Jamie Peyser has worked at Repligen for over 25 years in various scientific roles within the research and development department. For over two decades, Repligen has been the global leading supplier of Protein A ligands. Over this period Jamie was a key contributor to advancing Protein A affinity ligand and resin design, developing and launching several products for Repligen and partnering companies.
Early in his career, he developed clinical phase manufacturing strategies for Repligen’s therapeutic pipeline including monoclonal antibodies, IgG fusion proteins, and peptides.
 
Jamie currently leads the R&D biosciences group, supporting new product research and applications development for the company’s growing portfolio of chromatography products.
