## About this event:

#### Date: June 19, 2025

#### Time: 11 am EDT | 8 am PDT | 5 pm CEST

#### Duration: 30 minutes

The separation of full and empty adeno-associated virus (AAV) particles is a critical challenge in scalable production, impacting the efficacy and safety of gene therapy vectors.

This webinar will share the development of a simple, effective, and scalable strategy for the robust and scalable downstream processing of rAAV that results in significant full capsid enrichment and removal of empty capsids for AAV2 production.

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific to explore critical factors for implementing a particularly effective fully-quarternized anion exchange (AEX) chromatography resin with large throughpores for empty/full separation that can be applied to other AAV serotypes.

Key takeaways:

- Explore a AAV polish method to achieve five-fold full capsid enrichment.
- Understand critical AEX chromatography resin characteristics and buffer conditions.
- Discover a scalable AAV purification platform with high yield and purity.
