After completing his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of York, Schultz spent two years as a researcher at The Jenner Institute, Oxford University, in viral vectored vaccine technology. He completed his PhD in protein engineering at Queen Mary, University of London, after which he spent four years as a postdoctoral scientist with Stealthyx Therapeutics Ltd. Schultz now works as a team leader at the Centre for Process Innovation in the UK, leading teams in tackling a wide range of bioprocessing challenges.
