This webcast will explore the advantages of using intensified perfusion strategies for CAR-NK cell expansion in PBS Vertical-Wheel Bioreactors, leveraging the XCell^® ATF Perfusion Technology. We will examine the application of perfusion methods in cell therapy manufacturing. By exploring how techniques commonly utilized in antibody production may enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of cell therapies, particularly as the industry advances toward scalable allogeneic treatments.

Autologous therapies use a patient’s own cells, which lowers rejection risk but can be expensive and complex to produce. Allogeneic therapies, made from donor cells, promise easier, larger-scale production and potentially lower costs.

As allogeneic therapies are rapidly growing, we will review case studies examining the impact of ATF perfusion technology to boost allogeneic CAR-T cell yields up to 10 folds.
