Bradley Hasson is the director of lab operations for next-generation sequencing (NGS) services at MilliporeSigma, supporting BioReliance® Testing Services. Brad leads a global team of scientists, laboratory technicians and bioinformaticians that perform regulated GMP NGS-based testing services in support of product characterization, adventitious agent detection and product release for biologically derived products worldwide. He has over 20 years of industry experience, including 18 years of developing, validating, and commercializing molecular-based methods for biosafety testing and characterization for a variety of biologically derived products.

Wesley Morovic is a principal scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific with more than 20 years of experience across the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, including five years supporting Thermo Fisher Scientific GMP Labs. He specializes in molecular biology, genomics, and nucleic acid-based analytical workflows, with current responsibilities that include program leadership for DNA sequencing services and the development of next-generation sequencing capabilities within GMP Labs.
 
Wes has authored or co-authored approximately 20 scientific publications spanning microbiology, CRISPR-Cas systems, genome editing, comparative genomics, epigenetics, and molecular analytics for gene and cell therapy applications. His research has contributed to a deeper understanding of bacterial genome biology, CRISPR-mediated mechanisms, strain-level identification, and analytical approaches relevant to quality-focused and cGMP environments. He holds a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin, bringing together scientific, operational and business perspectives to support the implementation of robust, scalable, and reviewable molecular workflows.
