In his five years at Menarini Biotech, he covered positions in both DSP production and DSP development, accumulating expertise and knowledge of downstream process development and formulation development. Marco holds a bachelor's and master’s degree in chemistry from Sapienza University of Rome.
Manuel Matos, PhD

Manuel Matos is a field application scientist, specializing in downstream processing development of antibodies, recombinant proteins, and viral vectors. Manuel holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Coimbra and a master's degree in biotechnology from the NOVA School of Science and Technology.
In 2021, Manuel was awarded his doctoral degree in bioengineering systems from MIT Portugal, where he developed artificial scaffolds for the affinity separation of biomolecules. Following his studies, Manuel worked at Fairjourney Biologics and Rodon Biologics as a research scientist, where he developed experience in the process development of MAbs.
