Eric Bishop has been leading Research and Development and Custom Development Services projects at Cygnus Technologies since 2010. Prior to joining Cygnus, Eric worked for AstraZeneca (formerly, Medimmune) from 2002 to 2010. His responsibilities included analytical lead representation on CMC teams guiding projects from IND to BLA submissions, leading the New Technology Development group, being the in-house host cell protein expert, and overseeing the development, validation and technology transfer of HCP and other analytical assays. Eric also worked for CropTech Development from 1998-2002, where he was involved in the development of purification strategies of product protein from tobacco plants and characterization of purified proteins by various analytical methods.
