Michael Bransby is senior director of process technology at Repligen, where he leads innovation initiatives focused on upstream and downstream tangential flow filtration (TFF) technologies. During his 23-year career with Repligen, he has held a variety of roles across technical service, customer service, product management, sales, and technology leadership.

Michael has played a key role in the development and commercialization of numerous innovative bioprocessing technologies, including TFDF^®, cell therapy filtration solutions, countercurrent tangential flow filtration, mPES UF Spectrum^® hollow fiber filters, ProConnex^® flow paths, automatic backpressure valves, and Repligen's KrosFlo^® KR2i, KMPi, KTF, and FS TFF systems.

An inventor with five granted patents and ten patent applications pending, he continues to drive the advancement of next-generation filtration technologies that support more efficient and scalable bioprocessing.
