Dr. Jenny England is a Staff Scientist in the Applications and Innovation group in Purification and Pharma Analytics at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Jenny is a biophysicist by training and earned her PhD from Georgetown University. After graduate school, she did a postdoc at the National Cancer Institute that focused on structure-based drug design for protein kinase complexes. Jenny currently leads the application group for process development of the POROSTM resin products for antibody, mRNA, plasmid, and viral vector purification. Additionally, Jenny evaluates new and emerging technologies that can be applied to solve unmet customer needs in the bioproduction workflow.
