Samyuktha (Samy) Shankar is a field application specialist for Pharma Analytics. She has been with Thermo Fisher Scientific for two and a half years. In this position, she supports customers in Central Europe by providing trainings and with implementation of solutions for contaminant and impurity testing designed for the CGMP environment. Prior to starting her industry career, she completed her master’s degree at Hamburg University of Technology. There, she specialized in biotechnology and gained experience in molecular biology methods. She also worked part-time for over a year at Eppendorf Group and was involved in many student activities at the University. Samy also holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology.
