Dr. Ben Josey is a Field Application Scientist at Corning Life Sciences. He received his PhD in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina working on small-molecule and biomaterial-based treatments for cancer and neurodegenerative disease. Dr. Josey has held several positions in academia focused on translational research to overcome immunological barriers facing cell therapies. Dr. Josey works extensively with research and process development groups optimizing assay and cell culture scale-up conditions for viral production and cellular therapeutics.
