Jungeun Yang is a process engineer at Samsung Biologics, where she leads process design standardization, new plant optimization, and engineering support for new product introductions. She has designed and deployed a suite of engineering tools to support early-stage decision-making — spanning facility fit analysis, project feasibility studies, and equipment evaluation.
Jungeun played a key role in equipment validation for Plant 4 and has driven process standardization and optimization through the development of functional design specifications (FDS). She is currently spearheading an initiative aimed at improving existing facilities to enhance efficiency, extend equipment lifespan, and bring them in line with the company's latest plants.
She holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical and biomedical engineering and worked as a researcher at the Medical Robotics Research Center at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).
