Johanna Howson, PhD joined Ecolab’s Purolite™ Resins R&D department in 2021 following completion of her doctoral degree in extracellular matrix biology from The University of Manchester and A*STAR, Singapore. With over 12 years of laboratory-based experience in protein purification and molecular and cell biology, Johanna supports the business through leading large laboratory projects and advising customers on downstream bioprocessing solutions as a chromatography subject matter expert. In her role, Johanna has enjoyed working alongside customers to optimize their unique processes and address complex challenges in the rapidly evolving field of biotherapeutic technologies.
